Day One: Drive to Epidaurus via the Corinth Canal (short stop). Visit the Theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics and then on to Nafplion (short stop). Continue to to Mycenae where you visit the archaeological site and then depart for Olympia. Dinner and overnight in Olympia. (D.)

Day Two: Visit Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion, cross the channel to Antirion on the new “state of the art” suspended bridge and arrive in Delphi. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. (B.D.)

Day Three: Visit Delphi archaeological site and museum. Depart for Kalambaka. (B.D.)

Day Four: Visit the breathtaking Meteora Monasteries followed by afternoon departure for Athens including a short visit to Thermopylae. (B)

Traveling south from Athens, pass through the Corinth Canal to Mycenae, the capital of a once-thriving civilization. Proceed to picturesque Nafplion for lunch, then on to the theater of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. After lunch return to Athens. (Lunch is included in price)

Leave Athens via the National Highway to Delphi with a short stop in Levadia. The museum at Delphi houses some of the most significant artifacts of ancient Greece and the Sanctuary of Apollo. After lunch, return to Athens with a short stop in the village of Arachova, famous for its carpets. (Lunch is included in price)

Depart Athens to Paleo Faliro for your departure to Hydra, where we will arrive at 11:45 a.m. You have free time for a stroll and shopping. At 1:30 p.m. we sail for the lovely island of Aegina. Lunch will be served on board. Our next stop will be the charming island of Poros with its quaint tavernas, cafes and shops. A floor show will entertain you until we return to Athens. Leave Athens for a scenic drive along the coastal road on the Saronic Gulf. You will pass beautiful suburbs and lovely resort towns on the way to Cape Sounion to visit the 5th-century b.c. Temple of Poseidon. See one of the most breathtaking panoramas and sunsets in the world.
